Welcome to “Though Cowards Flinch.”
This website was dreamed up by myself with the help of friends like Dan Ashton, a co-admin here, and was realised with the help of fellow left-wingers, Jeff Kiok and Adrian McMenamin. Myself and Dan chose the name because we felt it enshrined our view of Labour Politics.We felt too many people were willing to shrink from the responsibilities that go with being a left wing Labour supporter. Most recently, for us, this would be displayed by the rumoured inability of Trade Union leadership to fight for freedom of speech at Labour Conference.
Over the coming weeks, months and years, we’re going to invest a significant amount of time detailing those events in global politics and how we think they should be (or should have been) dealt with. Most importantly, we’ll explain why. In addition, friends with various interests will contribute to the site in a non-political way – with sports commentary or short stories or book reviews. We hope you’ll enjoy this and will come back for more.
