All roads lead to Nantwich; time to take up the drawbridge

I’ve decided: I’m leaving the Labour Party and joining Beauties for Britain. One of their candidates is going to stand for election in Crewe and Nantwich, against the daughter of Gwyneth Dunwoody. Said the candidate; “I may not know a lot about politics yet but I …” Beauties for BritainYeah I’m going to stop that quotation right there; it pretty much sums up this ‘political’ party.

Apparently the party aims to “help make Westminster as glamorous a place as its fellow European legislatures, where beautiful women abound in the higher echelons of government”. Yes, because when we pay attention to the European government or the Westminster government, the one thing we absolutely should take account of are how many beautiful women there are in government.

On the other hand, at the risk of allowing my philogynistic demons loose, if the Westminster parliament was stacked with more women like her (right), more people might watch BBC Parliament.
