Councillors can only claim the costs of an ordinary fare (or special, cheaper fare if available) when using public transport. For all forms of transport, Councillors should only claim the standard or second-class fare.

Just a thought or observation correct me if I am wrong.I always thought that the Queen was Head of the UK and therefore She must be the peoples representative,if this is so then every MP who has been caught misappropiating puplic funds has committed treason because a crime committed against Her subjects is a crime against Her Majesty the Queen.Everyone of them should be hung drawn and quartered as they would have been under Henry the eighths laws.After all there are some of these MPs who are trying to escape there just desserts by using ancient laws let the Head of State use these ancient laws against them
